Join us for a historical road trip to Lynchburg’s Point of Honor, a federal style mansion overlooking the James River and owned by a historically important figure, Dr. George Cabell and Thomas Jefferson’s private retreat, Poplar Forest. Bring money for lunch in historic downtown Lynchburg. Tours will mainly be indoors but be prepared for some walking. Paid registration due by Tuesday, August 7.
