Neotropical migratory songbirds herald the arrival of spring in Virginia, rearing young and spending their summers in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Dr. Ashley Peele, Virginia Breeding Bird Atlas Coordinator and Researcher at VT’s Conservation Management Institute, is back to explain how our complex topography merits their nesting preferences and breeding behaviors.
