School Groups

The Wintergreen Nature Foundation is a wonderful educational resource for children in Nelson and surrounding counties. Bring students to our outdoors classroom and test the health of local streams with the Foundation's staff as well as volunteers. Or have your class take an interpretive hike focusing on the unique geology, botany, or cultural history found in this area of the Blue Ridge.
