Maple Sugar Days
March 6-10, 2012
The common assumption is that maple syrup comes only from New England and Canada. Think again – Wintergreen has several areas where the elevation and slopes create a microclimate suitable for sugar maple trees, a sugarbush. And where there is a sugarbush, there can be maple syrup. TWNF has started a new Wintergreen tradition – making maple syrup. We've now joined a very long line of maple producers.
We invite you to join us this spring as we look forward to the warm days and the cold nights that make the sap run in the trees. Help make maple syrup and some maple syrup history for yourself and your family. Call 434-325-8169 to reserve your spot for the programs needing advance registration.
